Skayell.com is my place on the web. My place. When the mood hits me, I'll add information and pics that are relevant to my life, past, present and future, but mostly present. Oops! Almost forgot the "Who is Skayell?" part. Skayell is an online name I made up about 25 years ago - long before the Internet was the place to be. I used skayell (it's usually all small letters) as a sign-in name for BBS (bulletin boards - if you remember them, you're dating yourself) and as a convenient email name. Again, email services were around for quite a while before the Internet grew to the point that separate email services such as ATTMail weren't required. And I confess that once upon a time I even used skayell as a logon to (scary music in the background) AOL.
Of course the astute reader will have realized that I still haven't answered the question: Who is skayell? Susan Kay Lozon. My initials, SKL. Say them fast enough and you'll end up with a word that sounds sort of like esskayell. I just dropped the first couple of letters and became skayell. From technical sites to sewing and doll user groups, I use skayell as my screen name or ID. It saves me thinking up a new name for each site and saves me from names like SusanL1121. Of course, that still doesn't answer the question of who I am. When I figure it out, you'll be the second to know.
